While at college he designed and showcased several high fashion concept driven collections in the local London fashion scene from underwear to outerwear and gained himself a fair amount of popularity. His initial unwearable costume collections were inspired by the underwater , the concept of metrosexuality and Dandyism, Death, Decay and Phantasmagoria. Danish apart from choosing conventional mediums like photoshoots and catwalk shows Danish went one step ahead and made short films to showcase his collections. His first short film 'Demise by Temptations' was premiered in London during the Halloween's week last year in October 2011. Hi second short film 'Danish Wakeel's The ivory Tower' enchanted the crowds who could not stop chanting his name when he opened the show during the closing day of London Fashion Week on Wednesday the 22 of February 2012 for his 'Draped Modern Kouroi' collection.
